Preseason training schedule

Mondays 5:30pm - 6:30
Under 10 Boys

Tuesdays from 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Under 11, 12 & 16 Boys

Wednesdays 6-7.15pm
Girls (all age groups)

Under 8 & 9 boys

Please arrive at least 20minutes before the start of training. All sessions will be held at 110 Elizabeth Street, Richmond.

The 2025 season

Matches will start in April and are played on Sunday mornings.

Home games are played at George Knott Reserve, Clifton Hill. Away games are mainly in the northern suburbs, depending on the opposition’s location.

Register with Football Victoria

To play official matches during the season, your child will need to be registered with Football Victoria. We have put together a guide to help you through the process.

Uniforms

Fitzroy Lions SC is the only football club in Australia that offers subsidised uniforms and registration to its participants based on their needs. However, to keep this initiative going, we kindly ask parents to purchase uniforms voluntarily through our online store if they are in a position to do so.

We encourage all parents to purchase tracksuits and bags for their children through the club's website, if they can. These items are not provided for free to participants.

Registration and fees

At FLSC, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to play soccer, regardless of their financial situation. Our goal is to create an inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy the beautiful game and feel like they are part of a larger community. To achieve this goal, we offer free membership to all participants, regardless of their financial situation.

However, we understand that there may be those who wish to contribute and help those who are not in a position to do so. That's why we have established three options for members to choose from.

The first option is to play for free, with no fees required. This option is designed for those who may not have the financial means to pay the membership fees. 

The second option is to pay your way, just like at other soccer clubs, by covering the costs for your uniforms and registration fees. This option is ideal for those who are able to contribute and support the club.

Finally, the third option is to not only pay your way, but also to support others by covering the fees of a teammate(s). This option is perfect for those who are looking to make a positive impact in their community and help others access the beautiful game they love. By offering these options, we aim to balance accessibility to the sport and also seek support from those who are able to contribute.

Option 1: Free
The club covers the cost of uniform, registration and membership fees valued at $350

Option 2: $350
Cover your costs so that the club has more funds to support others

 Option 3: $350 + donation of your choosing (tax deductible via Sports Foundation Australia)
Cover your own costs and help someone else who doesn’t have the money to play.

Team App

To stay up-to-date on games and training schedules, it is important to download the TEAM APP from the App Store. You will receive real-time notifications for any changes to the schedule.

Here are the steps to follow:

  4. Request to join the group.
